So awesome to be part of this Wedding! Serbian weddings are always fun with some very interesting traditions…
My day started usual with the Groom. Lots of food and drinks served all around with guests gathering slowly…Mico was quite excited!
Time with Anna was a lot of fun as she was getting all details right… Among all that, some special moments with her Mom were really touching.
Looking stunning in her dress, she started getting really excited about the arrival of the groom!
Serbian tradition includes the “buying of the Bride” which is really exciting. Groom arrives to Bride’s place with quite an entourage! The band, Best Man, family and guests. So in this case, the brother of the groom was looking for the Bride but first two offers by Anna’s Mom were not up to par… However, when Anna walked out, the crowed jump and excitement filled the street! Mico and Anna shared their first glance and smiled with such excitement! The celebration spilled over to the street even stopping some traffic!
Traditional Serbian wedding ceremony at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church in Kitchener was very neat. The candles, crowning and other traditions were followed.
Once family pictures inside the church were finished, we were off to St. Jacobs.
Rain threatened but it turned out great! We got some amazing shots with the vintage car and along the river. We also took a quick drive onto a country road for a few more pictures.
Reception was at ST. George’s Hall in Waterloo. Great food and amazing celebration of the wedding lasted well into the night!
Thank you for the honour of being your photographer! I wish you a lifetime of happiness.
